Released on 19 December 2023, version 1.20 focuses on making the Design Editor faster to work with, giving you control over your project’s primary language, and introducing handy AI short-action shortcuts in the Plural Assistant.

Improvements

Design Editor — “Apply to All Elements” Buttons

You can now push a style setting from one element to all other elements of the same type with a single click. New Apply to all elements buttons have been added for:
  • Title and subtitle text styling.
  • Question buttons — colour, border, and shape settings.
  • Thank you note in rating elements.
  • Stars in the rating element.
  • Buttons in the menu element.

Design Editor — “Apply One-Time to All Screens” Action

A new Apply one-time to all screens action lets you push the background configuration of one element to all other elements on the canvas in a single operation. The available options depend on what you have already added to the element:
When no image or video is addedWhen an image or video is present
Remove background image/videoApply background image/video
Remove overlayApply background colour
Apply background colourApply/Remove overlay
Apply vertical background colourApply vertical background colour

Changeable Primary Language

You can now change the primary language of your project at any time from the project settings. Keep in mind that projects can only be edited in the primary language, and auto-translation uses the primary language as the source for all secondary-language translations.

Improved Duplicate Project UI Feedback

The project duplication button is now protected against accidental multiple clicks. After you click it, the button changes colour and shows a spinner while the duplication is in progress, reverting to normal only once the duplicate is fully created.

Changed Language Icon for Avatars

The language-switch icon in the Avatar’s top-left corner has been updated from a material-style icon to a comic-style globe icon, making its purpose clearer to end users. This icon only appears when your project has three or more active languages.

Plural Assistant Short Actions

The AI assistant now offers quick short-action buttons alongside the existing Advanced function menu. Short actions let you generate text variations or summarise long text with one click, without opening the full settings panel. Use Advanced function when you need to customise tone, format, or translation options in detail.

Bug Fixes

  • The “Save answer” option has been removed from Avatar/Robot Speech text input fields, where it was not applicable.
  • A subtitle CSS issue that caused incorrect padding when text was aligned left or right with the Avatar hidden has been fixed.
  • The Reset Knowledge Base element is no longer treated as a standalone element and can now be used in combination with other elements.
  • Resetting the Plural KB Playground chat while a system response was streaming no longer breaks the chat.
  • Variables created inside Condition elements are now correctly listed as unused variables until you reference them elsewhere in the flow.
